the SWIMSMITH – Manhattan Island about Australian endurance athlete Roderick Smith, a film by Anthony Gordon.

After completing 10 full Ironman Triathlons and two 515 km Ultraman Triathlons in Australia and the UK, Roderick Smith decided to shift his endurance focus from dryland to the open water.

The 53-year-old recently finished 12th in the 45.8 km 20 Bridges Manhattan Island Swim around Manhattan Island in New York City in 8 hours 2 minutes and is now off to the Catalina Channel at the end of September and will head to the English Channel next July.

He is raising money and awareness for Black Dog Institute [see here] on his Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming campaign.
