Mayra Santos announced the opening of the 2023 season for SwimMadeira’s long-distance ocean challenges, beginning in August. SwimMadeira has 25 different tours and 10 unique experiences available in Madeira, called the Pearl of the Atlantic.
The Madeira Islands is a Portuguese archipelago located in the north Atlantic Ocean, west and slightly south of Portugal. Its population is spread over the islands of Madeira, Porto Santo, and the Desertas, administered together with the separate archipelago of the Savage Islands.
Some new offerings include:
30 km Madeira to Desertas Challenge:

40 km Porto Santo to Madeira Challenge:
