Registration is now open for the second edition of the MARNATON SwimRun Cap de Creus.
Clara Rabat explains the October 28th biathlon. “The challenge alternates between different stretches of running and swimming in the spectacular landscape of Roses and Cadaqués. This year, a sprint distance of 2 km of running and 700 metres of swimming has been introduced. Registration is open for both individuals and pairs.
Participants swim with running shoes and run in a wetsuit.
The new sprint distance will cover the village of Cadaqués and will enable participants to discover its beautiful beaches and paths. There will be 6 stretches of running and 5 stretches of swimming.
The long challenge – 18 km of running and 5 km of swimming – will start at the Port of Rosas where participants will enjoy stunning landscape until their arrival in Cadaqués. There will be 8 stretches of running and 7 stretches of swimming and the route will allow participants to discover Cala Montjoi, Cap Norfeu, Canadell, Port d’Alguer…all areas of great beauty which will make this an enjoyable experience. Feed stations will be available during the challenge for participants to gather their strength, located at 4 km, 9 km, 13.5 km, and 15 km.
The SwimRun is a challenge that fosters team spirit, friendship and teamwork as participants can take part in pairs. MARNATON also offers the possibility of participating individually.”
