Jill Stephens of Seal Beach, Califonia created My Dog Nose It!
The unique product came about when Stephens, a basal cell carcinoma skin cancer survivor, saw freckles on her dog’s discolored nose had freckles. Her veterinarian said it was caused due to the sun.
She looked for a canine sunscreen for her dog’s unprotected nose, but could not find anything.
Stephens used her beauty industry experience and hired a chemist to created a sunscreen cream and body spray to protect the noses of dogs and animals from horses to pig. When a small amount is applied, My Dog Nose It! dries quickly and is water resistant. Very importantly, it is not dangerous if licked.
