We know many biohackers and aging Baby Boomers who have done a variety of sports and activities on dryland all their lives…and are now taking up swimming, both in the pool and open water.

From running and pounding on the pavement to high-impact aerobics and weight training, many individuals begin to experience the impact of these activities on their joints and skeletal structure over the decades. An increasing number of athletes and non-athletes are finding their way to the water, whether it is in the warm chlorinated water of a pool or the dynamic nature of open bodies of water.
