Germany Sweeps IWSA World Cup Titles

The overall male and female age group winners of the most recent International Winter Swimming Association World Cup season were both Germans: Christof Wandratsch with 636 points in the 50-54 age group and Jaqueline Jänike with 630 points in the 55-59 age group.

The pair were ubiquitous, consistently winning podium positions from Latvia to Russia.

Jänike holds the 55-59 age group record in the 100m breastroke (1:50.00) while Wandratsch holds the 50-54 age group record in the 450m freestyle (5:37.12), the 45-49 age group record and winter swimming world record in the 1000m freestyle (12:42.27), the 45-39 age group record in the 25m butterfly (14.04), and the 50-54 age group record in the 1000m freestyle (13:23.07).
