Alice Franco Talks Training

Alice Franco is a professional marathon swimmer from Asti, Piemonte in northern Italy. A member of the Italian national open water swimming team, she won a bronze medal in the 25 km race at the 2011 FINA World Championships in Shanghai and finished fourth in the 25 km at the 2013 FINA World Championships in Barcelona. She followed up that performance by earning a gold medal in the 25 km race at the 2011 European Open Water Swimming Championships in Eilat, Israel.

She also competes on the FINA 10K Marathon Swimming World Cup pro circuit where she won the 2015 FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix races at the Maratón Internacional Aguas Abiertas Villa Urquiza – Paraná in Argentina and the Ohrid Lake Swimming Marathon in Macedonia.
