Ventsislav Aydarski Out-touches Marcel Schouten In Ohrid

The close finish between Rio Olympian Ventsislav Aydarski of Bulgaria (14th at the 2016 Olympics) and the Netherlands’ Marcel Schouten was captured by Vojislav Mijić at the inaugural International Olimpics Swimming Marathon, a 10 km professional marathon race in Ohrid Lake, Macedonia.

Closely watch the video above within the first six seconds – and the degree of post-race sportsmanship.

Aydarski (14th at the 2016 Rio Olympics) was given a time of 1:59:50 over Schouten‘s 1:59:51.
