The World Swimming Association (WSA) is a new global organization that is athlete centered, administratively transparent, and professionally managed. The WSA was envisioned by George Block, President of the World Swimming Coaches Association, and John Leonard, Executive Director of the World Swimming Coaches Association. Members on its board of directors will include representatives from the Professional Swimmers Association and the World Open Water Swimming Association.
Coleman Hodges reports on the ratification of the constitution, the latest decisions by the coaching community, and the possible future outcomes of the World Swimming Association from the American Swimming Coaches Association World Clinic in Washington D.C. this past weekend.
