Latvian Aleksandr Jakovlevs summed up the 2018 – 2019 International Winter Swimming Association season, “All the winter swimmers made this season unforgettable. 580 swimmers shared the experience of competing in 12 events including 4 stages of the IWSA World Cup over the season.
The first event of next season will be held in Jelgava, Latvia with the 11th Jelgavas Roni Cup opening the season and starting a new cycle of the IWSA World Cup.
Next year, our biggest global event will be the Winter Swimming World Championships 2020 in beautiful Bled, Slovenia. Registration is open and the early bird phase is still active until April 30th for reduced prices.“
