Where Is Becca Mann? What About Stephanie Peacock?

While everyone was focused on watching the world’s greatest female swimmer, Olympic champion and world record holder Katie Ledecky at the 2016 Arena Pro Swim Series in Austin, Texas in the 400m freestyle finals, our eyes were zeroed in on Becca Mann of North Baltimore Aquatic Club and Stephanie Peacock of Mission Viejo Nadadores.

Both Mann and Peacock had dreams of joining Haley Anderson in the Olympic 10K Marathon Swim in August at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Alas, those open water dreams were not realized. But their Olympic dreams remain very much alive.

They both looked good in swimming a 4:07 in the 400m freestyle in Austin. Their times will undoubtedly get faster as June approaches. With Olympic Trials for USA Swimming in Omaha, Nebraska coming up this summer, we will keep our eyes on these two cross-over athletes to see if they can join Anderson in Rio.
