Victoria ‘Tori’ Gorman of Australia completed a crossing of the Catalina Channel on September 5th in 12 hours 41 minutes to achieve the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.

Gorman swam the English Channel in 2012 as a fundraiser to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim in 2013.

Her Catalina Channel crossing was supported by fellow Triple Crowners, Kent Nicholas, David Barra, and Becky Jackman-Beeler, and 2015 Catalina Channel Swimming Federation observer/swimmer, Kelley Prebil.
