19-year-old Shubham Dhananjay Vanmali of India became the 120th person in history to complete the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.
He crossed the English Channel in 12 hours 42 minutes and the Catalina Channel in 10 hours 42 minutes. He completed the Triple Crown with an 8 hour 11 minute circumnavigation of the Manhattan Island on September 11th. “I feel great to complete the Triple Crown. It was my dream. And now i am very much determined to complete all the Seven Seas as soon as possible. It’s my dream and I am very much focus to achieve this endeavor.”
