Scout Tommey Wins Opening Stage At Reef & Run

20-year-old Scout Tommey upstaged all the men and won the first stage in the one-mile ocean race at the 2017 Reef & Run Series on June 8th.

The second stage is held tomorrow on June 15th for the Week 2 race on East Beach in Santa Barbara, California.

East Beach is the site of three ocean swim distances: 500 yards, 1 km and 1 mile or the 1 km swim + 3 km beach run biathlon followed by live music from Ukulele Jim and drinks at the East Beach Grill Post Race Party.

The season-ending Boat to Beach race is August 31.
