René Martínez Saenz is a Mexican channel swimmer from Mexico City who completed the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming and was the subject of a short documentary film Molokai y La Rana, directed and edited by Gerardo Flores (aka Geraflou).
He became the fifth Mexican and 84th person in history to complete a solo crossing from the island of Molokai to Oahu.
