Jose Luis Larrosa Chorro created Swimon to develop and promote open water swimming events in Malaysia including the 16 km Perhentian Marathon Swim [shown above] around Pulau Besar, the Perhaentia 4.5 km OWS Challenge, and solo crossings of the Strait of Malacca between Malaysia and Indonesia that has only been crossed by a handful of solo swimmers.
