Swimmathon is Square Off Sports property. The Mumbai-based company offers open water swimming and pool swimming events through a national promotion and campaign in India.
Recognised by the Swimming Federation of India with the Goa Swimming Association as its technical partner, Swimmathon was launched in 2012 as the event serves as the Indian selection trials for international competitions.*
The Swimmathon race director Pradeep Kumar, the Indian national swimming coach and recipient of the Dronacharya Award, works with the Swimmathon brand ambassador Virdhawal Khade, the youngest Indian athlete to qualify for the Olympic Games, to offer four different races on December 3rd.
Over 1,500 swimmers will compete in 1 km, 2.5 km, 5 km and 10 km races.
