Oceania Swimming Championships In Samoa

Samoa will warmly welcome over 120 swimmers and delegations from American Samoa, Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, Guam, Hawaii (by invitation), Marshall Islands, New Caledonia (by invitation), New Zealand, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa and Tonga (by invitation) to compete in the 8th Oceania Swimming Championships between June 21-26.

In addition to the 5K race on June 21st and the 10K race on June 24th in the waters off Faleasiu, FINA will conduct Open Water Swimming Technical Clinics as part of the FINA Development Program in Apia.

The Oceania Swimming Championships have been held in Nouméa, New Caledonia (1993), Brisbane, Australia (1997), Christchurch, New Zealand (2000), Nouméa (2002), Suva, Fiji (2004), Cairns, Australia (2006) and Christchurch (2008).
