More Racing In Roberval

The world championships have presented a variety of issues to the swimmers including a sudden shift in water temperatures from 24°C (75°C) to 17°C (62°C), clarification of swimsuit specifications, controversy that resulted in disqualifications, plenty of yellow cards, new champions, emerging swimmers, fast sprints, tactical racing, hypothermia, missed buoys, fat lips, cuts, scraps and bruises.

Should be more of the same for the upcoming 5K and 25K races that can be viewed live online on Radio Canada.

Photo above shows a full rainbow illuminating the world championship course, celebrated by Benoit Amyot and Roger Gervais, the two men who are leading the army of volunteers and staff who are hosting the passionately friendly and professionally organized competition.
