Megan Jendrick, Still Smiling For The First Time

Triple Olympic medalist Megan Jendrick has done nearly everything in the swimming world, from age-group swimming to standing on top of the Olympic podium.

But she is going to do her first open water swim in her life.

And there couldn’t be a better place for her introduction to sea swimming.

The Seattle (Washington) resident is joining her husband Nathan and dozens of other Olympic swimmers at tomorrow’s Flowers Sea Swim for the annual 1-mile race. “In addition to the 1-miler, I will also be swimming the 5 km on Monday,” said the 29-year-old fitness expert with her trademark smile. “I am sort of nervous, but the water is so beautiful here.”
