Megan Jendrick is a swimmer who truly lives the aquatic lifestyle.

After her Olympic successes, she became a fitness columnist and co-authored a few books about her lifestyle and how others can celebrate and live the aquatic lifestyle to their benefit:

3-time Olympic medalist Jendrick wrote Get Wet, Get Fit and The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Swimming. And she knows what she is talking about: she won two gold medals at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and competes in open water swims including this weekend’s upcoming Flowers Sea Swim in the Cayman Islands.

Get Wet, Get Fit is a popular swimming-for-fitness resource for swimmers of all abilities and backgrounds. It includes tips from 12 Olympic swimmers with information from stretching and nutrition to full workouts of all intensities.

The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Swimming was co-authored with Olympic coach Mike Bottom. The duo provides clear, easy-to-understand instructions, helpful tips and advice, as well as information on pool and open water swimming for every level of swimming abilities.
