Lewis Pugh, the United Nations Patron of the Oceans, sent the following messages to world and business leaders at the World Economic Forum in Davos on January 21st. “The ice sheet is melting at an unprecedented rate. We simply cannot waste anymore time. Change is happening. It is happening fast. We don’t have 50 years, 20 years or even 10 years to cut our carbon emissions. It has to happen now.”
