High-Fiving Kirill Abrosimov In Hoorn, Netherlands

Following in the wake of renowned Russian swimmers like Yuri Kudinov and Vladimir Dyatchin, Kirill Abrosimov from Yaroslavl, Russia high-fived the finish pontoon to win the 5 km time trial at the 2016 European Open Water Swimming Championships in Hoorn, Netherlands.

Abrosimov, coached by Irini Voronina, started open water swimming in 2000 at the age of 9 years old, and is starting to accumulate additional international honors after his rousing debut at the 2012 European Open Water Championships in Piombino, Italy. As passionate student of the sport, he holds the title of Honoured Master of Sport in Russia and “demands the impossible from myself.”
