Heidi Levasseur of Trois-Riviese, Quebec, Canada completed an unprecedented 160K swim around the perimeter of Tour du Lac St-Jean, a swim where she swam between 15-35K each day between July 12th – 17th.

“Swimming is my passion. I want to give a message to people who have a dream. I also want to join a cause because I do not want to compete, but I want to swim for various charitable projects.”

“I kept going throughout the Tour du Lac St-Jean even if it was getting more and more difficult. But I always could see the shore and was guided by a boat and a kayak the whole way around the Lac St-Jean.”

And she continues on with her next swim being a 4-day journey down the St-Maurice River (Descente de la rivière St-Maurice) this coming September.
