Frosty The Snow Man In The Open Water

Spread the love

Video courtesy of Ger Kennedy, Yakutsk, Siberia, Russia.

Frosty the ice swimmer was a jolly happy soul,
Stroking away polarized goggles and a dab of lanolin
With two swim buddies, not his kin.

Frosty the snowman is a real swimmer, they say,
He swims in sleet and cold, but the children
Know he heads to shore every day.

There must be magic in that thin rubber cap, they found.
For when they placed it on his head
He began to swim his arms around.

Oh, Frosty the snowman
Was as real as ice swimmers could be,
The neoprened triathletes say he could cycle
And run just the same as you and me.

Thumpetty stroke stroke,
Look at Frosty the hard-core swimmin’ bloke

He led them down to the shore outside town
Right to the ol’ wooden pier.
And he only paused a moment when
He dove in, yelling ‘No fear!’

For Frosty the snowman
Had to get in his two miles,
As he strokes away, o’er the waves
Don’t you worry, he’ll emerge full of smiles.

Thumpetty splash splash
Look at Frosty swim so fast.

Thumpetty stroke stroke,
Over the swells, what a bloke.
