FINA World Cup Attracts Over 300 Competitors

In 2014, 304 swimmers (156 men and 148 women) from 38 countries competed in the FINA 10K Marathon Swimming World Cup where Brazilians Allan do Carmo and Ana Marcela Cunha won the overall circuit.

This year, 11 races in 9 countries on 3 continents are on the FINA pro circuit:

1. Patagones-Viedma in Argentina on February 7th
2. Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates on March 13th
3. New Caledonia in France on April 18th
4. Cancun in Mexico on May 2nd
5. Balatonfured in Hungary on June 20th
6. Setubal in Portugal on June 27th
7. Lac St-Jean in Canada on July 23rd
8. Lac Magog in Canada on July 31st
9. Lac Megantic in Canada on August 8th
10. Chun’an in China on October 12th
11. Hong Kong on October 17th
