Chasing The Sublime from Amanda Bluglass, Devon, United Kingdom.
Amanda Bluglass, a Cambridge-educated BBC news reporter, TV producer, documentary director/producer, and a University Lecturer in Media Arts, directed Chasing The Sublime, a film that features British wild swimmers Kate Rew and Kari Furre.
The film was sponsored by The Outdoor Swimming Society in association with Alpkit with Red Moon Cruises, Akur Capital, Dryrobe and Aquatica Digital in 2018.
The Director of Photography is Danny Cooke, the editor is Michael Clark with underwater photography done by Neil Hope and Danny Cooke.
It will be seen at the 2019 Vancouver International Women in Film Festival, 2019 Four Seasons Film Festival, 2019 Sheffield Adventure Film Festival and the 2019 BMC Women Adventure Film Festival Competition.
Bluglass has directed Ray: A Life Underwater about 75-year-old Ray Ives and his eccentric treasure trove of deep sea salvage.
Bluglass also directed Sea Pool, a film at Brixham Shoalstone Sea Pool’s last swim of 2016.
