Chase Travis had a busy three days in Miami, Florida.

The high schooler finished 9th in the USA Swimming National Open Water Swimming Championships 10 km race in 2:01:58.07 last Friday. Then, she won the 5 km USA Swimming Junior National Open Water Swimming Championships in 1:02:07 on Saturday in a quick turnaround. The next day on Sunday, she finished 12th in the USA Swimming National Open Water Swimming Championships 5 km race in 1:01:47.57.

20 km of fast swimming where she spent lots of time in the lead pack and going head-to-head with some of the best open water swimmers in the world.
