Swimming World Magazine interviewed Ashley Twichell talked about staying in the moment during a competitive 2-hour race at yesterday’s 2019 USA Swimming National Open Water Swimming Championships when she crowned the USA champion, just behind Ana Marcela Cunha.

Twichell is shown on left just touching the finish pad with her left hand at the end of the 10 km race where she qualified for the 2019 FINA World Championships in Gwangju, South Korea.
