Adam Jerzykowski completed the first stage of his Swim For a Dream project in Poland.
His 20 km swim in Baltic Sea across the Bay of Puck took him over 8 hours. “My body was at its limits, but my head never doubted that I would complete the swim. The first stage seemed to be a lifetime journey. I want to continue. This is my purpose.”
His second stage will pick up in 2016 when he will swim from Alcatraz to San Francisco. “Then in the Polish great lakes, I want to do a 60 km swim. Between then, I will be a part of a team that will swim 500 km over 6 days which will be a new relay record in Poland. All of this will be done to collect funds for four families who have sick children.”
