One World One Ocean is seeking young filmmakers to create short films of 60 seconds or less what the ocean means to them. Whether they live right next to the beach or 1,000 kilometers from the seashore, One World One Ocean wants to learn why the ocean is vital to everyone’s lives.
The opportunity is meant for teenagers in grades 7th – 12th to channel their creativity through humorous videos, music videos, and videos with a conservation message.
Awards will be given in the following categories:
* Judges Award Grand Prize Winner – Best Ocean Message
* Public Choice Grand Prize
* Best Video from a Non-Coastal City
Video submissions are due Friday, July 13th at 5 pm PST.
The winners will be announced on July 23rd.
