Renowned Ice Mile swimmer and Ice Ironwoman Elina Mäkinen is competing in the inaugural Winter Swimming European Championships along with a number of the fastest and most accomplished winter swimmers in the world.
The Championships will be held between March 1st – 3rd 2019 at the Spa Hotel Peurunka in Peurunka, Laukaa, Finland.
Päivi Pälvimäki said, “The next Winter Swimming European Championships will be held in 2021. All European winter swimming clubs and associations can apply for the next European Championship in 2021.”
