Nagle (1:09:11.2), Chris Jones (1:10:40.0) and David Swensen (1:12:36.8) went 1-2-3 at last year’s inaugural Boston Frogman Swim, a 5 km charity swim across Boston Harbor between East Boston and downtown Boston on June 7th.
The event is part of the growing Frogman Swim Series includes the original Tampa Bay Frogman Swim in Florida.
Frogman Swim board of director and ambassador Kurt Ott explains, “The Frogman Swim Series strives to build national awareness of the Naval Special Warfare community and support the Navy SEAL Foundation whose mission is to provide immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community and their families. The swims present a challenging endeavor to provide a small reminder of the hardships endured by our elite and silent warriors while encouraging others to support and donate to the cause.
100% of net proceeds go directly to support the mission of the Navy Seal Foundation. While US$2,000 is the ideal fundraising goal per swimmer, the majority of swimmers raise over that amount, many raise much more.”
