2017 Circuito Petrobras Rei e Rainha do Mar

Betina Lorscheitter, Viviane Jungblut, Leonardo de Deus, and Guilherme Costa will represent Brazil while Dario Verani will represent Italy, Anna Olasz will represent Hungary, Esmee Vermeulen will represent the Netherlands, Alexander Studzinski will represent Germany, and Becca Mann will represent USA at the December 10th King and Queen of the Sea (Circuito Petrobras Rei e Rainha do Mar).

The elite swimmers will join over 3,000 other swimmers of all ages and abilities in a made-for-TV ocean extravaganza in Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The event will be televised live on TV Globo throughout Brazil.

The event includes a 2.5 km and 5 km beach run, 2.5 km classic ocean swim, 100m, 300m, 600m beach kids run, 1 km ocean swim + 2.5 km beach run biathlon + 5 km ocean swim challenge, 100m, 200m and 400m kids ocean swim, 1 km sprint swim, 10 km ocean swim Super Challenge, and 2 km, 4 km, 8 km SUP race.
