World’s Most Unique Hobby – Discarded Fishing Weight Collection

Triple Crowner Michael Miller of Honolulu trains on the south and north shores of Oahu. Along the way in the clear offshore water of Oahu, he dives under the surface and picks up fishing weights along the way. He can’t help himself and has picked up quite a collection over the decades.
“I have even collected a few anchors. It has taken me quite a while to bring the anchors to shore, but I did it,” he said with a broad smile.
Miller explains above about some of his more unusual trophies. He swims, he sees, he dives, he puts the fishing weight in his swimsuit, adding to his collection swim-by-swim.
