World Ocean Day is June 8th.

Doug Woodring explains about the Oceanic Big Five. “Surfers, swimmers, paddlers, sailors and divers all make up the Oceanic Big Five, those athletes who do ocean sports although you can even do your sport in lakes and rivers, too any day of the year. Get out there with your team or club, and do a cleanup in honor of World Ocean Day.

You can raise money for your local cause or our global work at Ocean Recovery Alliance.

It’s easy to set up your own team, club or company funding page.

Also, the next Plasticity Forum event will be held in Anaheim, California on May 9th. This is like the Olympics of Plastic Sustainability.”
