Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Lewis Pugh will speak at a mass rally and concert in Durban, South Africa on November 27th at Kings Park Stadium.

The Nobel Peace Prize winner and environmental campaigner/endurance swimmer will join forces in the 50,000-seat stadium the day before the United Nations Climate Change Conference opens.

As the crucial climate change negotiations start, Archbishop Tutu and Lewis will call on world leaders to apply justice and equity to their decision-making. “Please join us. We are hoping to fill the 50,000 seat stadium where there will be superb music and the gates open at 12:45.”

Lewis will weave his experiences of marathon swimming, shared by open water swimmers worldwide, in his message of hope and responsibility at the UN Climate Change Conference, known as COP17/CMP7.

More information is here on the Conference.
