Ana Marcela Cunha won the FINA/CNSG Marathon Swim World Series event in Balatonfüred, Hungary in 2015 and 2018 and again this weekend – each time as a result of an all-out sprint.
Today, the top three swimmers finished within 1.8 seconds. Cunha out-touched Italy’s Arianna Bridi by 0.4 seconds for her third career victory in Hungary and her third win in four World Series races so far in 2019.
