Košecký Marek organizes a winter swimming competition in Bratislava (Wakelake in Golden Sands near Hotel Color), Slovakia on March 11th.
Part of the Czech Cup for winter swimming, swimmers from more than 10 countries will take part in the 100m, 250m, 500m, 750m and 1 km races.
Swimmers can register here for the competition where the expected water temperatures will be between 0°C – 6°C. Marek writes, “Participants not registered in the Czech Republic need confirmation from a doctor that they are able to swim in the icy water.”
