Winding Up Among Windmills, Maarten Van Der Weijden

Maarten van der Weijden won the 2008 Olympic 10K Marathon Swim and then retired on top of the sport.

But he still swims and completed a 32 km charity swim.

He swam 7 hours 15 minutes in Zaanse Schans, Schoorldam in his native Netherlands among an area populated with wooden windmills, barns, houses and museums and built in the Dutch wooden architectural style.
