There was high surf yesterday on Oahu with lots of turbulence, but the conditions are calming down for this year’s 48th annual Waikiki Roughwater Swim across Waikiki Beach in Hawaii tomorrow morning.
Conditions including cross currents, oncoming currents, wind and waves can get very gnarly at times in Hawaii. Every year, the ocean dynamics always throw a wrench into the 2.4-mile ocean race.
