When Orcas Enter The Swim Zone

Ger Kennedy had a comprehensive safety plan and many contingency plans for the Antarctica 2020 International Swim in the Southern Ocean off Antarctica, but then a pod of orcas entered the swim zone – and the planned Zero Ice Miles of Cath Pendleton and Paul Georgescu had to be delayed.

Orcas – and leopard seals – were present.
