It is not often when sponsors actually take to the open water in events that they sponsor.
But John Mix and Tammy Choy of FINIS both participated in the 1-mile races at the Monterey Beach SportsFest in Monterey Bay, California this weekend. “This ocean swim is a birthday present to myself,” said FINIS founder Mix who turned 49 on race day. “We have to support more events like this. It is great to see all these people out here enjoying the ocean.”
