When reigning 5 km world champion Ashley Twichell went to the USA Swimming Golden Goggles ceremonies in New York City, she was accompanied by her husband Derek Wall … who accessorized his tuxedo with nice shoes.

* 2016 USA Swimming Championships: 1st in 10 km, 8th in 5 km
* 2016 FINA World Championships: 2nd in 800m freestyle
* 2017 FINA World Championships: 1st in 5 km, 2nd in 5 km team relay, 10th in 10 km
* 2017 USA Swimming Championships: 1st in 10 km
* 2018 USA Swimming Championships: 1st in 10 km
* 2018 U.S. Championships: 1st in 1500m freestyle, 8th in 800m freestyle
