CNN broadcast an overview of triathlon tips from two top-ranked brothers – Alistar and Jonathan Brownlee from Great Britain.
Alistair is a two-time triathlon world champion and one of the favorites heading into the 2012 London Olympics. Alistar’s younger brother Jonathan, finished second to him at the 2011 world championships in 2011.
Similar to the fast turnover technique of elite open water swimmers, the brothers recommended a high stroke-per-minute pace for triathletes and “turning your arms over as quickly as you can” so “there is no dead point in your stroke”.
