Instead of waiting for a phone call or text; rather than frequently checking updates on Facebook or receiving tweets, Evan Morrison has created a customizable GPS tracking system for marathon swimmers that can be followed in real-time,” explains Steven Munatones of the World Open Water Swimming Association.

This remarkable technology enables swimmers to broadcast their swims in real-time. This greatly helps bring the sport of marathon swimming to wherever the swimmer’s family, friends or fans are located. You can track exactly where the swimmers are in a lake or channel or down a river even if you are at home, in the office or on the road.

Combined with photos, videos and updates posted on social media, Track.RS is a great way to bring the challenges and progress of marathon swimmer to mobile phones and computer screens around the world.”
