Tough Year, Strong Currents, Family Finishes Roughwater

Despite hundreds of other swimmers being pulled out due to strong currents in one of the slowest, toughest and most challenging editions in its 47-year history, one family trio of father, mother and their 7-year-old son completed the 2.4-mile (3.86 km) Waikiki Roughwater Swim together today in Honolulu, Hawaii.
