Too Too Close, Two Tie

In what could possibly be a precursor to the Olympic 10K Marathon Swim finish in Copacabana Beach at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, Italy’s Rachele Bruni and France’s Aurélie Muller tied for first at the 2016 European Open Water Championships in the Netherlands.

The top two swimmers and pre-race medal podium finish favorites finished identically in 2:07:00.1.
