Tom Hackett Makes It Across The Molokai Channel

One of America’s most renowned and respected orthopedic surgeons, Dr. Tom Hackett has expended his adventurous spirit on dryland as an archaeologist, mountaineer, guide, and ski patrolman.

After an all-nighter in the Pacific Ocean, Dr. Hackett made it successfully across the Molokai Channel to make it two Oceans Seven swims under his swim cap.

After departing from Molokai Island last night, he took 14 hours 57 minutes to reach Oahu.
