Thursday Night Ocean Swimming In Santa Barbara

Throughout the summer months, there are plenty of ocean swims up and down the coast of California.  With its races held only on Thursday nights, the Reef & Run Series allows swimmers to participate in other summer season races throughout the summer weekends.

Joseph Lastelic beat young Johnny Bish to win the 1-miler while Bish’s older sister Andrea Bish won the women’s division.  The proceeds from the season enables the Reef and Run to donate US$22,000+ to the local Junior Lifeguard program and the Nick Johnson Scholarship Fund.
